Watercolour and black chalk on paper. The reverse of the sheet is taped with Japan paper along the upper edge. One artist’s tack hole at the center of the left edge. Some light staining with a very few minute spots of foxing in places (mainly visible on the reverse). An horizontal flattened fold (approx. 5 cm.) with an associated small tear (approx. 0.3 cm) towards the lower right corner. A very small area of surface abrasion in the right part of the boat’ sail. Medium is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing it is or opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Aquarelle et pierre noire sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est collé avec du papier Japon le long du bord supérieur. Un trou de punaise fait par l’artiste au centre du bord gauche. La feuille est légèrement insolée avec de très rares minuscules piqures par endroits (principalement visibles au revers). Une pliure horizontale aplatie (approx. 5 cm.) associée à une petite déchirure (approx. 0.3 cm) vers le coin inférieur droit. Une très petite zone d’abrasion de surface dans la partie droite de la voile du bateau. Le medium est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
