The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in its condition acquired after its original manufacture.
- Good condition overall.
- Some marks and residue from use to the inside.
- One side has been heavily fired in the heat of the kiln resulting in a burnished mark.
- As mentioned there are small firing cracks typical of this type of ware.
- As is typical, the lacquer cover is later.
