We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The rim of the box has a restored chip near one corner with an associated loss of lacquer (approx. 1.5 x 1cm.).
- There is another small chip to a corner of the lower part of the box.
- There is a small chip to the cover and some losses of hirame.
- There is some general surface wear and slight fading of the lacquer in places.
