Of lobed form, decorated in gold, silver and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, togidashi and kirikane on a kinji ground, the cover depicting a court lady by a table viewing maple over the terrace, the side with roundels of ho-o birds and paulownia, nashiji interior and base, with tomobako [original wood box] signed Sawada Sotokusai and seal
