This year’s Art of Japan Online sale features a broad range of Japanese art from the 17th to 20th centuries. Highlights of the sale include a London collection of 20th century studio ceramics by leading artists Shoji Hamada, Kawai Kanjiro and Tatsuzo Shimaoka; as well as Edo period Japanese folding screens of varying subjects including scenes from the Tale of Genji, and woodblock prints by artists such as Hokusai, Hiroshige, Kunisada and Kuniyoshi.
