SIGNED YABU MEIZAN, MEIJI PERIOD (LATE 19TH CENTURY)
Of rectangular form with short cylindrical neck, decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt on a crackled cream ground with four panels, the first with sparrows and wisteria, the second with a festival palanquin and figures, the third with a bird amongst maple, the fourth with a mountainous landscape with pavilions and a boat on water, all against a ground with a profusion of flowerheads, gilt seal to base, the cover a wood replacement
18 cm. high
