As is typical of this date and type of folding screen there are old paper damages and associated restorations with some touching-in of pigments - especially around the hinges but also elsewhere. There is old wear to the brocade mount and the lacquered wood frame has minor age-related wear. The backing papers are overall in good condition with a small surface hole to the back of one panel.
