The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in its condition acquired after its original manufacture.
- The first good condition, old paper label to base.
- The second slight wear to glaze overall, rim chips (some repaired in red lacquer) and firing crack filled to base.
- The third, light surface marks to unglazed area and finial to cover is loose.
