The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in its condition acquired after its original manufacture.
The first (with black glaze):
- Firing flaws have been filled with brown lacquer to the interior.
- Firing crack to base.
- Otherwise good condition.
The second (pink glaze):
- Small red lacquer repair to rim and minor rim frits.
- Extensive glaze crackle as can be seen in the images, otherwise good condition.
