The obverse shows a chariot scene with a female charioteer and warrior beside her, the horses being held by winged Eros with a youth dressed in oriental costume standing in front. The reverse with three standing draped youths. Post Lot Text This lot has been imported from outside the EU for sale and placed under the Temporary Admission regime. Rim with repair with glue visible and losses and flaked chips along the break line on exterior and interior. Handle on this side broken and repaired at join with body with repaired chip to the body on the vessel in between the handle. Flaked chips and losses along the break lines with a large flaked loss just affecting the left arm of the youth in oriental costume. Areas of mis-firing to red on the obverse side. Large flaked chip to edge of foot. Other minor flaked chips to rim. Some weathering and white dirt mottling to the surface over the obverse. Wear overall and minor rubbing and loss to the added white. Interior with losses to the glaze and mottled to the surface overall.
