The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on tracing paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged along the edges with Japan paper to a sheet support that has been cut to shape to allow both sides of the drawing to be fully visible. The upper, left and lower edges slightly uneven. Some pale surface dirt and minor light-staining with a few associated stains mainly towards the upper right quadrant. A very few further minor spots of foxing in places. The medium is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.

Graphite sur papier calque. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des fausse marges. Les bords supérieur, gauche et inférieur légèrement irréguliers. Légère salissure de surface et légère insolation de la feuille associée à de rares taches principalement vers le quart supérieur droit. De très rares autres mineures piqûres par endroits. Le médium est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre semble être en bon état général.
