Isobel Macdonald-Jackson is a self taught artist who uses natural and organic forms to inform her unique intricate style. Originating from Dorset and Jurassic Coast, she has been greatly influenced by the strong natural history of the area. She now lives and practices in London but frequently returns home to maintain this connection. Her main artistic influences have been European Renaissance art, particularly the Davinci sketches of the body. Her other main inspiration has been the world of tattoos and tattoo culture. The intricate and precise nature of these two styles come together in her work to show science and nature combined.
