The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first, good impression. Paper edges worn and slightly brittle with small losses. Slight wormage and creasing. Some light soiling and rubbing.
The second, good impression. Toned, soiled and creased. Some wear to paper edges and some restorations. Paper slightly brittle and a few small pinholes.
