Two young women are seated at a low table, each holding a brush. An older woman stands beside them holding a book of calligraphy, behind the girl on the right is a go-board (goban) on which there are two wooden containers for the black and white go stones (go-ishi).
Vertical oban: 38.2 x 25.4 cm. (15 x 10 in.)
