Two triptychs from the series Famous Places in the Eastern Capital (Toto meisho)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this lot acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Both fair impressions, good colour.
The first:
- Slight rubbing, creasing and light soiling.
- Middle and left sheets with small restorations and creases along one long edge.
- Slight trimming and slight wear to paper edges.
The second:
- Some creasing, light soiling and rubbing.
- Left sheet with restoration within cloud.
- Middle sheet with small restorations to left edge.
- Right sheet with small wormhole patched at right edge.
- Some trimming and wear to paper edges.
