A Good Day for Many Things (Yorozu yoshi), from the series A Floral Calendar: Women on Lucky Days (Hana goyomi kichihi sugata), signed Kunisada aratame nidai Toyokuni ga, censor’s seal Tanaka (Tanaka Heishiro), published by Wakasaya Yoichi (Jakurindo), circa 1843-47

The Actor Nakamura Fukusuke I, from the set Fashionable Firefly-hunting (Hotaru-gari fuzoku), signed Toyokuni ga, censor’s seal aratame, published by Ebisuya Shoshichi (Kinshodo), 3rd month 1860
Each vertical oban:
The first: 37.1 x 24.8 cm. (1458 x 934 in.)
The second: 35.4 x 25.1 cm. (14 x 10 in.)
