- Twelve shunga drawings, ink and light colour on paper, some bearing the signature and seal Chinnen (Onishi Chinnen (1792-1851))
- Utagawa Kunisada, the actor Ichikawa Ebizo V as Takechi Mitsuhide, woodblock print, signed Toyokuni ga, 1858
- A further preparatory drawing and a woodblock print of an amorous couple, 19th century
Each approx. 40.5 x 28.5 cm. (16 x 11 ¼ in.)


Provenance
Sylvia Lacan (1908-1993) and thence by descent to the present owner. Sylvia Lacan was married to the French intellectual Georges Bataille (1897-1962), then the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan (1901-1981).
