The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are some firing flaws all over, a few possibly polished.
- There is some fritting along the rims.
- There are two approx. 3 cm. long hairlines to the foot rim.
- There are a few minute nicks to the foot rim.
- There are many kiln grit adhesions under the base.
- There are a few scattered short deep scratches.
- The dish is slightly warped.
Otherwise, the dish is in good overall condition with general age-related surface wear, scratches and firing faults as can be expected.
