The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
-X-rays reveal one post has a repaired break at the center and where it meets the mouth rim
-X-rays show that there is an area of restoration to the top of the leg below the handle and to a small associated area of the lower body, and there is an area of touch-up near the bottom of this leg on one side
-one other leg has been off and reattached and has some restoration to one side near the bottom of the leg, and there is restoration to the tip of the third leg
-X-rays show there may be a small ancient repair to the bottom of the vessel, and also shows some lines in the bottom of the vessel which may be fine cracks
-there are the expected small nicks to the rims and edges
