The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture.
- A restored area approx. 6 cm. wide with associated overpainting to the mouth rim
- A partially filled Y-shaped firing crack and two short firing cracks surrounding one mask above one foot
- A shallow chip to the edge of base on the exterior
- Some expected light surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use
- Some polishing to all feet
