The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Jar:
- A small restored area to the lower body near shore opposite the house, and a small U-shaped crack near the metal rim on the mouth
Cover:
- Restoration to one grid with associated overpainting to the exterior of the cover
- A few minor dents to the mouth rim
Both:
- Expected tarnishing to the metal
