The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A hole was drilled in the base, and filled-in with a metal patch.
- There are a few small losses of enamel.
- There are some small age cracks to the enamels.
- There is pitting to the enamels.
- There is wear to the gilding, mainly under the base.
- There are some small dents to the rims.
There is general age-related surface wear as can be expected.
