The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Both vase and brush pot are appear to be in overall good condition
The vase:
- Expected surface abrasion and some rubbing to the gilt ground
The brush pot:
- A few minor nicks to the foot rim
- Scattered iron spots and pinprick holes, which are inherent to the manufacture
