The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a very small flat chip to the mouth rim.
- There is some fritting to the mouth rim.
- There are two hairline cracks on the body, measuring 16 cm and 8 cm long, partially covered by added painted elements of decoration.
- There are two paper labels on the base.
- There is one flat chip to the foot rim.
- There is some wear to the iron-red pigments.
There is general age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
