The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture
-Repaired breaks with overpainting to both hands and arms, and a few other areas with overpainting such as to the chest, folds of robe, and fills between the proper right arm and body, possibly to cover repairs, cracks or seams between pieced elements
-A restuck piece to the back near proper right shoulder
-Proper right ear appears to be a replacement
- A few small chips, nicks and small losses to the edges, and a few dents and some wear overall
-A small drilled hole to the back and to the proper left elbow
- A carved-out section to the base
