We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Bowl:
- a chip and glaze flakes to the mouth rim
- three spur marks to mouth and to each feet
- a firing flaw on the exterior below the mouth
Ladle:
- a few chips to the end of the handle
Both:
- surface wear, glaze flakes and degradation which are all consistent with age
