We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. Teabowls and saucers: - Some very small scattered chips - Light rubbing, scratches and wear to the enamel and the gilding - A few firing imperfections including one teabowl with a small firing crack to the rim (approx 1/8 in.) and another very tiny one at the bottom. - A few areas of old adhesive to one saucer Spice box and cover: - Expected surface abarsion and wear to the enamel decoration with a few small areas of touch-up - Some minor chips, nicks, and firing imperfections to the body - The pierced cover has been restored Tea caddies: - The tea caddies appear to be in overall good condition. - One cover has been broken and restored.
