The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The peach-form ewer:
Two break lines / hairlines going around the lower section of the handle.
A few flat chips and frits to the foot rim.
The circular dishes:
One with one restored chip to the mouth rim,
A few very minute surface nicks to the well on both dishes.
The tripod censer and cover:
Upper sections of both handles have been restored.
One foot with a chip.
One handle with a small chip.
A small hairline to the cover's rim, and a few minute frits to the extremities.
The brush rest:
Restored chip to the tip of all the extremities.
The other dish:
A nick chip to a corner.
Small areas of abrasions to the corners.
All pieces with general age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
