The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The libation cup:
- some chips to the foot rim and base
- a small area of restoration to the foot
- minor firing cracks and flaws
- a few flakes and nicks to the mouth rim
The lion finial:
- with a few very minor nicks to the foot rim, a small chip to one corner, and minor firing flaws
Th ewer:
- the cover has some chips to both upper and lower rims
- a few minor nicks to the mouth rim, one chip to the beard of the chilong spout
- some areas of tiny flakes/ fritz and firing flaws
