The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
Pair of quail badges:
- Both are in overall good condition with very vibrant threads
- Both with a few minor areas of lifting to the gold threads around the border
Paradise flycatcher badge:
- The badge is faded
- Some loss and lifting to the gold threads around the border
- A few tiny spots of staining, particularly to the rock at the right
- The reverse has a few areas of sticky residue
