The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.

- negligible nicks to the edges of the jade finial

- cracks and associated minor loss to the clay body
- casting flaw to a few bottom corners
- minor dents to body and base
- jade handle has a few nicks to the edges, some minor flaws, and a fissure or crack to the bottom end, and it’s a bit loose
both:
- expected surface wear, light scratches, and tarnishing to the metal
