We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

The lid:
It is in good overall condition with a few very minute nicks to the edges and rims, and general age-related surface wear as can be expected.

The kettle:
There are a few chips to the mouth rim.
There are some scattered casting faults as can be expected.
Some casting faults, some pitting, slight iron rust outside, and iron rust inside as can be expected.
