The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A short, vertical firing crack to the exterior, and the unglazed center has a long, U-shaped fine crack, an old, small shallow chip, and has been stamped with a circular mark on the interior
- Two small glaze nicks to the mouth rim
- Some expected surface wear, scratches and light abrasion consistent with age and use
- Polishing to the base of all feet
- A drilled hole near base on the exterior
