The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- As can be seen in the illustration, the vase has been cut at the neck and fitted with a metal ring, and the base has been drilled with some chips to the edge of the opening
- Two vertical hairlines extend from the foot to the lower body, and two hairlines to the underside of base
- A few chips to the foot rim
- Some expected light surface scratches and a few glaze nicks
- Some minor irregularities original to manufacture
