The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Basin:
- A small shallow chip to mouth rim
- Expected rubbing to gilt particularly on the mouth rim, and light wear overall
- An area of enamel irregularity as well as some other small flaws to the exterior, and some pits to the center of the interior, which are all original to manufacture
- Otherwise in overall good condition

Pitcher:
- Repaired breaks to handle with some associated losses
- A few scattered glaze flakes and minor areas where glaze did not adhere
- Some expected rubbing to gilt particular to the mouth rim, and some light wear overall
- A small burst bubble or glaze chip to the tip of the mouth

Vase and cover:
- The vase with two glaze cracks on the interior of mouth, a chip to one chilong on shoulder, and a few chips to foot rim
- A few sharp kiln grit to inner rim of foot and a few short firing cracks to underside of base
- Occasional minor rubbing and scratches to the enamels
- The cover is in overall good condition, with a few minor nicks to the flange

Cover:
- The cover has been broken in half and restuck, with a chip to finial, and another small chip to the geometric decoration on the side
