The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- A chip, a small chip and some nicks to the foot rim.
- A few small shallow chips, and sections of extensive fritting and some nicks to the mouth rim.
- Wear to the enamels.
- Some deep surface scratches and areas of abrasions.
- Some glaze faults and firing faults.
- A character incised under the base.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
