The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
- a short firing crack to the interior of the bowl and a few others to the underside of the base
- the gilt on the mouth has been mostly rubbed away
- some rubbing to the iron red medallion on the center of the interior and to the other iron red and gilt decoration on the exterior
- the foot rim may have been slightly buffed
- otherwise appears to be in overall good condition
