The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- the majority of the gilt decoration has been rubbed away, with some a few surface scratches and light abrasion over all
- the vase leans slightly
- a few short firing cracks and a kiln grit to base
- a few burst bubbles or small knock and glaze gaps to the body
- the foot is a bit rough in some places
- otherwise appear in overall good condition
