The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
- the mouth has been cut and covered with a brown dressing
- a large filled chip above the foot on one side
- the foot is a bit misshapen, with a few chips and flaws, and has been polished
- a few small glaze gaps to the underside of the base
- the vase is slightly misfired and has some surface abrasion and scratches
