The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- two small filled flaws or dents to one narrow side’s edge and two filled fine short age cracks to the base
- a few joints of the struts have been reinforced with glue, which are to be expected
- two small filled flaws to the marble panel at the back and one at the front, all associated with a fine natural fissure
- a few expected fine surface scratches to the marble panel and to the wood parts
