The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-The pins under the feet possibly later added for support; one figure is missing a pin
-The hands on both may have been later secured rather than reattached; loss to one screw for securing the tray on one figure’s hand
-There is an area of loss to the enamel at the proper left elbow of one figure with some added white fill
-Each with some loose stanchions on the bases, some stanchions with chips or a white adhesive around the opening in which they fit, and a portion of the chains have been replaced
-The bases on the trays appear to be reattached
-Both with scattered pits and small flakes and chips to the enamels overall, touch ups and fill to losses around the hems of the skirts, the cuffs and the edges of the bases and trays
