The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Both:
- As can be expected, there are losses to the raised decoration and painted pigments
- There are some chips and nicks to the mouth rim and foot rim
- There is a circular aperture to the lower body, which is inherent to manufacture
- Expected scratches and surface abrasion
One Jar:
- A few hairlines to the body
The other jar:
- Three cracks with associated minor losses that extend from the circular aperture
