We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

- expected loss to paint
Both horses:
- both ears might be made up with associated overpainting
One horse:
- repaired breaks to all four legs and to the base with associated overpainting
Both ladies:
- multiple repaired breaks overall, including to the neck, hair, and sleeves, with associated overpainting and other scattered touch-ups
