The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
Both:
- As can be expected, there are a few restored areas, such as to head, body, legs and stand
- A few shallow surface chips and a few cracks, and a few area of small losses
- Some expected degradation and flaking to glaze, and traces of pigments
- Both are missing the weapon held in their proper right hand
