We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The pair of vases appear to be in overall good condition
- Both vases have the expected minor firing imperfections including irons spots, burst glaze bubbles, and glaze imperfections, which are inherent to manufacture
- Both with some light polishing to the foot rim
One:
- A chip to the bottom of one handle with associated touch up
- A minor nick to the foot rim
The other:
- A small glaze chip with associated crack on the interior mouth rim
