The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired since its initial manufacture.
Teadust vase:
- appears to be in overall good condition
- a polished glaze flaw near the foot rim
black glazed gu:
- some expected rubbing to the gilt decoration
- a few short firing cracks to the mouth rim and a few burst bubbles to the interior
- a few glaze gaps and associated polishing to where glaze pools above the foot
- a few small polished areas to the foot
