The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The smaller:
- In overall good condition
- There are iron spots, firing flaws, and firing cracks to the exterior of the bowl
The larger:
- There is a large bisected V-shaped section off and restuck to the mouth rim with a section of loss
- There are some touched-up chips to the mouth rim
- There are two hairlines, one with an associated touch up
- There are scratches and touch ups to the interior and exterior
- As can be expected, there is wear to the foot rim
