We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are some nicks and small losses of lacquer to the rims.
- There are some scattered minute surface indentations.
- There are some surface scratches.
- The end of the handle is inscribed with the character Ko on the back.
The shakushi with general age-related surface wear as can be expected.
