We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

- Appear to be in overall good condition for works of this type and age
- Expected wear and degradation to glaze
- Minor chips and nicks to edges
The cover:
- A break to the bottom rung on the rear
The base:
- A short fine crack extending from the edge in front of the chicken
