The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
It is in our opinion that the property is in good overall condition for its age, except:
-Each handle with some expected lacquer losses.
-The silks with few wormholes, and expected few silk splits, soilings, stains, scratches and abraision.
-The top left panel in first illustration has a small retouched tear (3.5 cm. long) below the handle, associated with a tear.
